Set in its own valley and just 10 minutes walk from the town of Callac, Kernormand holiday cottage benefits from the tranquillity of the countryside but still has the conveniences of the town.

If you love animals and the countryside you'll love Kernormand. We have more than 30 horses, some big ones but the others are rare breed Falabellas. We have the friendliest goats, rare breed curly haired pigs (not for eating!), chickens, geese, cats and dogs too.

There is fishing in the area (permit required). Coastal golf course nearby (clubs not provided. Best to book in advance). We can arrange a visit to a Michelin 2* restaurant and we can also 'taxi' guests at a pre-arranged time. Horse riding etc nearby. Kite flying, pony walking, feeding the animals for children are all available on-site.

The feel of this ancient stone building has been retained, whilst creating a superbly modern interior with fully insulated and boarded walls and ceilings. The spacious rooms with velux windows are light, airy and instantly relaxing.

The original fireplace with new woodburner makes a welcome feature.

**Animals**

Children love the Gite because they are right in the centre of the farm with all the animals around them. They especially love to make friends with Buffy the very large poodle, and her son Eddy. Rocky the terrier is a real mischief maker and is always there to cause trouble and provide hours of entertainment.

**Pool**

A private above ground splash pool is provided (15ft round x 3ft 6" deep) and barbecue equipment with a table and chairs for those relaxing evenings.

**Welcome Pack**

On arrival all guests receive a large welcome pack with all they should need for the first night and for morning breakfast - so please state if you are vegetarian! - This pack does include wine and fruit juice, tea, coffee, milk, bread, cereal and veg from our kitchen garden, as well as much more!

Cot (sheets provided) and highchair available, dvd player in situe and a video player with many childrens (and some adult) films +  Sat tv.
