We are peacefully situated within a picturesque valley in the lower Fenouilledes foothills of the Pyrenees standing midway between two small villages, Le Vivier and Fosse . This tranquil location makes it an ideal base for exploring the region or simply putting your feet up and relaxing. The closest airports are Perpignan (50 minutes), Carcassonne (1.5 hours), Gerona in Spain and Toulouse (2 hours) (flights available on low cost Ryan Air and Flybe airlines).

Local shops, including a butcher/general store are situated within five minutes drive in the pretty village of Le Vivier. There are several bars and restaurants within ten minutes drive in Caudies providing anything from a quick snack to a gourmet meal.

Swimming, golf, canoeing, horse riding, tennis, white water rafting, canyoning, trekking, mountain biking and many more are all available within 15 minutes drive or less.

Within an hour you can visit the secluded rock pools at Pezilla, Roman Aqueduct at Ansignan, Gorges and plunge pools of Galamus at St Paul, Mijanes skiing resort for Beginners and Experienced skiers ) not expensive) in season, Mediterranean Beaches for a day lazing in the sun to name just a few. Also within an hours drive is the larger town of Perpignan (the gateway to Spain) with museums, restaurants, extensive shopping areas and enormous hypermarkets.

For longer days out, a drive of between an hour and two hours takes you to the walled city of Carcassonne , the duty free paradise of Andorra and the therapeutic thermal baths at Rennes les Bains.
So, whether you simply like to laze in the sun, potter around discovering the outstanding mountainous scenery and pretty local villages , or prefer to be more active and adventurous, you will find Moulin De Perle is the ideal location.

Le Moulinet

Sleeps 5 people. Le Moulinet occupies the lower floor of the mill, the sitting room complete with wood-burning stove and english sky TV, overlooks the tumbling stream and peaceful countryside beyond. A walled private sheltered terrace with BBQ and garden furniture provides a charming entrance to the cottage with one double , one bunk bed and one single bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped and bathroom consists of shower, wc and washbasin.

La Bergerie

Sleeps 3 people. This charming and detached converted barn provides two private terraces with BBQ/garden furniture and its own driveway with shady parking. La Bergerie has one double and one single bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen. The large open plan living/dining area features a wood-burning stove and english sky TV/Video. The bathroom consists of shower, wc and washbasin.

La Grange Cottage

Sleeps 6 people. This recently converted detached property has its own secluded setting with a westerly aspect terrace complete with BBQ and garden furniture for watching the beautiful sunsets. La Grange features one large double, one bunk bed and one twin bedroom, a comfortable lounge with english sky TV and woodburning stove and bathroom with wc, small bath, shower and washbasin. The kitchen comes well equipped complete with washing machine.
